MALI Peruvian Power: Jose Sabogal
As part of the new partnership between Pichoncito and MALI to create books that highlight Peru's artistic legacy, a new title has been added to the Peruvians Power collection: José Sabogal.
José was a very, very restless child, always willing to explore everything. He fostered a sense of belonging and attachment to Peru through his art, and for this reason, he is called not only the father of the indigenist movement but also "the first painter of Peru."
